Before and After

Here's the newest piece. It has beautiful lines and the geometric pattern of the fabric goes nicely with the very graphic shape of the back. We love oak and this chair has gorgeous grain. Just a little refresher on the stain really made it pop. Lots of fun working on this one...

Popeye chairs

We picked up 4 of these lovely chairs the other day. They will be our last project before we take a little break to welcome our second child to the family. Two will be a custom order, and the other two will be sold on Etsy. They are solid maple, and made in 1944. The curves of the legs are over-sized, and Dave says they remind him of Popeye's forearms. Here are some pics...

Busy weekend

SOLD

Had some time to myself this past weekend to work on a couple of pieces. A little multi-functional desk/table, perfect for small spaces. A custom colour was made and it has been distressed to create that weathered look. A fold down drawer provides extra storage. Lots of fun experimenting with this one!

Also, a solid wood chair was painted a grey/green colour, which compliments the Waverly screen print upholstery. The simple lines and hand-carved detail give this piece lots of character.
